Why it works this way

An advertising company wrote rules against its own interest into the code. Here is why.

The recommendation is locked first

Whatever the AI decided on its own is computed before any ad is looked for, and fingerprinted at that moment. After ads are added, the recommendation is checked against that fingerprint, and a change is recorded as a fact rather than a promise. With zero advertisers, the answer is identical.

Money cannot buy its way past a condition

If someone said "Seoul region", a product that cannot run there is not a candidate at any price. Ordering happens only among candidates that already cleared the conditions, and even there the influence of a bid has a ceiling: a candidate far behind on fit cannot win by paying more.

Nothing bills until an arrival is confirmed

Impressions and clicks move no money. A cost lands when a person actually goes to the advertiser and the party paying confirms it. There are four ways to confirm, and which one was used stays on the settlement record permanently.

The reason is simple. If money moved on a signal the party showing the ad can produce alone, that signal becomes a printing press. So no such signal is ever billed.

Remove the label and it does not settle

The word "Ad" is part of the signature, not a notice bolted on top. Serve the offer without it and confirmation fails, so the placement is never paid for. Keeping the label is what gets paid, which is why the label stays.

Conversations do not travel

What someone asked, and the words they used, are never sent to cherryAD. Only normalised conditions like "database" or "Seoul region" move. Anything shaped like a person's identity is refused at the door.

What we have to say plainly right now

This is early We are still gathering the apps that show these recommendations, so volume may be small.
Top-ups and refunds are handled by hand No payment provider is contracted yet, so a person records money that actually moved.
Legal and tax review is outstanding It happens just before real revenue does.

If you want the whole thing

The auction, the settlement ledger, the audit chain and the signing rules are all written down in the public repository. If the code and the documents disagree, that is a bug.
